We shall visit the Paracas National Reserve, the mayor marine protected area of the Peruvian coast. This package also includes a boat visit to the Ballestas Islands. Both locations are important bird areas, gathering various species including resident, migratory and endemic birds, typical of the Humboldt Current, grouping pelicans, cormorants, boobies, sterns and seagulls that share their habitat alongside South American fur seals and sea lions. During the summer the condor and flamingos are also frequently spotted as they descend from Andean valleys.

Tour Description:

We shall fly over the famous Nazca Lines, described by Dr. Maria Reiche. These gigantic geometric and animal figures were engraved on the sand by the Nazca people 1500 years ago. After performing the Nazca city tour, we’ll visit to the underground aqueducts, constructed and developed more than 2000 years ago and still working.
